I have always loved the concept of creating art through everyday materials and discarded items. You have to think outside the box and not be afraid to combine what our society considers "valuable" materials with "trash." But once you start, you see possibilities in everything, onion bags, junk mail, tin cans, etc. It is a lovely place to be...exciting on the edge. These are my new wind powered earrings, moving pinwheels created from recycled plastic and sterling silver. They spin in the wind and weigh practically nothing!
